It's official, electro-loving mancs have never had it so good. A plethora of new nights covering all things electro from 'clash to the downright scary have got a large portion of the city's clubbers dancing to a whole new beat.

But the nice people behind relatively new night Sequence seem to be doing pretty well at plugging a gap.

"We felt that although Manchester has plenty of nights that play electronic music, they seemed to be at either end of the electroclash/electronica spectrum and that there was something missing,"explains Sequence promoter Steve Williams.

"The Manchester club scene is in a kind of transition at the moment, moving away from the more fashionable electroclash that was evident last year into something deeper, with more substance to it."

Bold claims indeed. But Sequence's thundering mix of electro, acid house, techno and bass-heavy breaks has both feet firmly on the dancefloor - where they should be. Their seventh appearance at The Attic this Saturday also sees a return visit from Sequence favourite Tommy Walker III. Further enticement lies with the Djing nous of residents from three more Manc nights on the up: Fuse, Locked and Music is Better.

Plug it in.
